Javno podjetje Uradni list Republike Slovenije d.o.o. (The Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia Ltd.) is a public company owned by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia. It was established by the Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia Act.
Until 28 February 2026, the company performed the public service of publishing the Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia. As of 1 March 2026, the publication of the Official Journal was transferred to the Government Office for Legislation.
Activities
From its establishment until 28 February 2026, the company’s main activities were the publication of the Official Journal and book publishing. Throughout this period, we developed extensive expertise and comprehensive databases, which in recent years have enabled us to broaden our services, particularly in the fields of education, publishing, and information management.
With the transfer of the Official Journal publication to the Government Office for Legislation, the company has entered a new phase of development, focusing on strengthening its publishing, educational, and information-based activities.
Book publishing has been active since 1946. With its extensive range of specialised legal publications, the company significantly contributes to the development of legal science and professional practice. Our publishing programme focuses on collections of legislation with commentaries, professional monographs, study materials, and practical manuals. We cooperate with renowned authors and respected experts from both academia and practice, ensuring a high-quality and diverse portfolio.
In recent years, we have strongly developed our educational services. We are committed to organising high-quality seminars and conferences that combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Our programmes are designed for a broad professional audience, particularly for those dealing with legislative changes. We cooperate with highly qualified experts who share their knowledge, skills, and experience, providing participants with practical tools for their work.
One of the services we are also recognised for is UL info tok (www.ulinfotok.si), an electronic service tailored to the specific needs of users. The service focuses on legislation and public procurement, offering customised notifications and selected content based on individual interests.
